Vehicle Description
The 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is an icon, so you know already know
you're look at a desirable coupe for a nice price. But as you dig a
little deeper, this one surprises with nice extras, including a
powerful small block. So it puts the hardtop you've always wanted
in a place where you can finally take it home.
The sporty style of this Camaro sets the right tone from any angle.
You have the super-scoop cowl hood and SS-style blackout grille up
front; there's the big rear spoiler and bright dual exhaust; and
larger 15-inch Rally wheels with extra meaty rear tires gives this
a nice profile. Red is always a nice way to distinguish a muscle
machine. It's not a perfect finish, but it's hard to deny its mean
look when there are upgraded Z/28 racing stripes painted on top.
And so overall, this is the Camaro that was built to drive, and the
more you look, you realize that's exactly what you want to do with
this one.
For the same reason why we like the black stripes on the exterior
is why we love the full black interior. This is built to be a
driver's setup. That's why you have bucket seats, a center console,
horseshoe shifter, and a dual spoke steering wheel that gives you a
clear view to the sporty recessed gauges. As you look around the
whole interior, you'll spot some nice extras. The controls are
there for air conditioning. It's not blowing cold, but you do have
the right main pieces already in place, including a newer condenser
and compressor. And the bright white Bosh auxiliary readouts easily
attract your eye and let you keep a better eye on what's going on
under the hood.
The bold Chevy orange block radiates within the dark engine bay to
let you know this has proper small block power. This is a 350
cubic-inch V8 borrowed for a younger performance Chevy. And this
has been upgraded with an Edelbrock AVS2 four-barrel carburetor,
performance intake, and headers that add power while feeding the
rumbling dual exhaust. You'll even spot nice supporting components
like good belts, clean hoses, and the aluminum radiator. The TH400
three-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit built for this
kind of added power. And because this one has power steering, power
brakes w/discs up front, and wide radial tires, it makes for a full
package that's ready to hit the streets.
Rarely is a muscle car icon with proper V8 power like this
available for such an obtainable price. So you know you need to
hurry on this deal. Call today!!!
