Vehicle Description
On the outside, this 1947 Dodge Pickup is quite vintage. It only
has a few pieces that hint to the custom upgrades. But beneath the
surface lies and A/C interior, upgraded V8 power, an upgraded
suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and an overdrive transmission.
So look over all the details, because this is one amazing and
stealthy custom build.
The exterior looks like a two-tone reminder of an honest day's
work. The red and black two-tone practically defines this era in
classic truck motoring, and the presentation looks like it has been
hard at work for decades. You could upgrade this to a show-stopped
finish, but really look at this before you do. The presentation
seems quite purposeful to disguise the upgrades and show off the
old-school feel. After all, you have terrific classic details, like
distinct cross-hair grille is a design feature that you see on
brand new Mopar pickups today. There's also the headlights in the
fenders, steel running boards, real lumber on the bed floor, and
matching wood for the vintage stake-side bed. They'll only start to
wonder if there's something more here when they take note of the
polished pieces, like the 16-inch alloys and large dual exhaust
tips.
There's a stealthy style to the interior, too. A clean black bench
seat, coordinating simple door panels, and a large three-spoke
steering wheel are pure vintage pickup. But when you hop inside,
you really start to see the upgrades. There's an AM/FM/CD/XM stereo
with adjustable Bazooka tube subwoofer. And they couldn't have even
dreamed of cold-blowing air conditioning in 1947. Plus, the Lokar
floor shifter and full Dolphin gauge package lets you know there's
something nice in the engine bay, too.
The moment you open the butterfly hood, you can instantly spot the
upgrade. After all, Dodge was years away from V8 power in 1947. Not
only do you have a hardy 305 cubic-inch Chevy small block, but also
it was upgraded further with an Edelbrock four-barbell carburetor
and Edelbrock intake. More details like the upgraded distributor
and electric fan keep this V8 a strong runner. And the worthwhile
investments don't end there. There is an independent front
suspension w/tubular A-arms, power steering, Pirellis tires, and
four-wheel power disc brakes. It even has a four-speed automatic
transmission w/highway-friendly overdrive.
You get classic looks, custom upgrades, and modern power - and it's
all available now for an obtainable price. So don't miss out on
this one-of-a-kind. Call today!!!
