This is a well preserved example of a 1959 Silver Hawk. It has undergone an extensive restoration. The body appears rust free. The interior is redone. There are some blemishes in the paint on the hood. The white roof has a small imperfection in the paint. It is a 259 V-8 with four barrel carburetor. It has a three speed manual transmission on the floor with overdrive and a Hurst shifter. There does not appear to be any brake, transmission or cooling systems leaks.The engine compartment is very clean. All electric and gauges are in working order. Other upgrades include radial tires, fuel pump and battery. It starts and runs well. The chrome is in great shape and shows like new. If you are looking for a unique example of a late 1950's sport car (only 7,788 Silver Hawks were sold in 1959) this car may be for you. This automobile is considered a true 1950's icon.
