Vehicle Description
This 1967 Pontiac GTO tribute has all the right looks of a factory
Goat, and as you dig a little deeper, you also see that there's a
bigger motor and more go-fast goodies than you could get from GM.
So who doesn't love a hardtop that gives you the correct appearance
and a ton more substance?
These '67 Pontiacs have a truly substantial look with the stacked
headlights and rear quarter panels that flare out to show you where
the power meets the pavement. This coupe looks good in white...not
perfect, but just that right balance that doesn't make you nervous
to take it out on weekends, and when you get to stoplights everyone
gives you extra stares. There's nice brightwork with the
form-fitting bumpers, full rocker treatment, and even upgraded
polished Cragar SS wheels. It looks aggressive with the hood
scoops, correct GTO badging, chainmesh grille, and dual exhaust
tips. So this tribute really has all the right pieces you love,
right down to details, like the special GTO rear taillights and the
working hood-mounted tach.
The blue interior has a striking look against the white exterior.
And it's a complete package with the seats, carpeting, door panels,
and dash pad all contributing to the deep blue ocean. This is set
up to be a driver's car. That's why you have great classic
features, like bucket seats and a center console w/floor shifter.
This is joined by upgrades like the Grant sports steering wheel and
Bosch auxiliary readouts. The stereo is an upgraded AM/FM/CD unit
with good speakers and an aux input for your iPod. But we know
you're going to really love rolling down all the windows on this
pillarless hardtop just so you can hear the rumble of the
exhaust.
When you open the hood, the correct Pontiac turquoise block, bright
valve covers, and matching air topper are all attractive. But what
you really love is the callout on top. GTO fans would have to wait
for the next generation to get their hands on the big 455
cubic-inch V8, but this tribute car rectifies that problem. Plus,
it's upgraded further with performance parts like Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and long
tube headers feeding the dual exhaust with sweet-sounding
Flowmasters. You'll even spot good supporting components, like the
steel braided lines, AN fittings, and an aluminum radiator. The
TH400 three-speed transmission is a stout unit for handling the big
power, and it's also a smooth automatic shifter. There's also power
steering, power brakes, and wide BF Goodrich T/As to make this a
great anytime classic.
This is the GTO tribute that gives you a more ferocious tiger in
under the hood. So you know you can't resists this hardtop. Call
