For sale, rare classic 1958 Edsel Pacer 4 door hard top in excellent condition. Only 4959 of this year and model were produced and this #1195 built at the San Jose, Ca plant. I am selling this for my 91yr old father in law so historic information in limited. The badge plate is pictured and the details are broken down below. To my knowledge there is only one previous owner. This is not the original paint and I do not know why it was repainted however the body, frame, paint and glass are in excellent condition. This is also not the original interior. The previous owner had it done to match the paint and it was done very well and is in excellent condition. To my knowledge the engine is original. I have included several images to inspect. There is an upgraded 12V electrical system as you can see with the MSD coil. The transmission appears to be the original 3 speed automatic. The car starts and runs strong. I drove my father in law in the veterans day parade in this Edsel in 2019 however I believe that was the last time it has been driven on the street. I tried to pull it out of the garage to take pictures and the brakes have bled off so the vehicle will need to be towed upon pick up. It does still start and run effortlessly.
