If you’ve been searching for a completely original, unmolested, 5-speed 928, here it is! The car was sold new right here in Denver, has never been out of state and was a one-owner until 2014. Never driven in winter, the car is absolutely immaculate and is still in original paint!! It has probably never spent a night outdoors, only has 38K miles and has a complete service file going back to 1980.
Factory options included metallic paint, ventilated leather upholstery, Porsche/Blaupunkt AM/FM/SW/Cassette stereo and 16” wheels.
The car was always maintained at the Porsche dealer where it was sold new, but has been cared for by 928 specialty shops in recent years. The A/C has been serviced and performs well, the cooling system has been upgraded to enhance efficiency plus an electric fan has been added. (original parts were retained) A full cam belt service was recently completed.
The paint is unbelievable—it looks four years old, not forty!—and has virtually no scratches or chips. The wheels were professionally refinished a few years ago, are unmarked, new tires were installed at the time. Everything works, even the clock (!) plus we have the original packet of owner’s books with dealer servicing stamps & spare key. The full tool kit is in the trunk and looks like new, along with the tire-changing stuff and compressor.
