Vehicle Description
Please take a look at this 1967 Ford Shelby GT500 2-Door Fastback
(#539) owned by a recognized Mustang Judge/Collector in AL. This
Dark Moss Green Metallic GT500 is a full rotisserie-restored
example, thoroughly documented with all period correct 'numbers
matching' components. This GT500 is 1 of 2,048 examples produced in
1967 and is based in dry Tennessee where it has been carefully
stored in a private collection since 2017. As the owner can attest,
this car is an exceptional example to many others like it with a
color combination of Hunter Green over Parchment interior that
perfectly captures the GT500's iconic design. It is the pinnacle of
others like it in the Mustang community and restored to a level by
which many others are judged. The car can be found on the Shelby
Registry and comes with a Marti Report. EXTERIOR: The color is Dark
Moss Green Metallic. The Paint quality is 2-stage base/clear and
done to a show quality standard. The paint is very deep for the
quality of its appearance and well maintained by its owner. Unlike
many, THIS Mustang has 100% of all of its original sheet metal and
fiberglass parts including its original fiberglass hood, decklid,
air scoops and original wood steering wheel. This is confirmed by
the Shelby part numbers still clearly evident in the side air
scoops. This was sold new in California and always a solid
rust-free running/driving example prior to its rotisserie
restoration. The prior owner owned it for 40 years having only put
just over 20,000 miles on it in their ownership. The panel
alignment is excellent, with no missing parts. All the stainless
trim is intact with no blemishes. The grille and light bar are
perfect with no damage or compression issues. All glass is
undamaged and works manually with ease as expected. All lamps work
correctly. The wheels are perfect with period-correct tires at a
cost of $400 each including the spare. INTERIOR: The interior is an
off-white Parchment color all original to this car.
