1956 Packard Executive for consideration. This 56 Packard is a
highly original car that appears to be mostly unmolested. The car
is presented in tri-tone exterior paint, Antique White, Black and
Coral. The interior remains nearly all if not all original and
retains all the luxurious features that came with the executive.
Leather dash, tooled dash facia, purposefully designed knobs and
switches, multi tone upholstery, ashtrays for all, factory radio,
power windows, push button transmission selection, power antenna,
original steering wheel with horn ring, etc. The interior remains
intact and in very good overall original condition and shows
wonderful consistent patina.
As mentioned, the exterior appears to have been repainted. The
repaint is old, speculating 30 plus years or, it still shows very
nice with expected minor checking and evenly distributed patina
throughout. The chrome and trim are complete and original to the
car.
The engine and engine bay remain original and very clean. The car
starts, runs and moves.
The car comes to us from a Museum collection and is being sold as a
light project and is being sold as is. Most things work at the time
of this writing including lights, horn and blower motor. The power
windows are hit and miss, and the car needs brake work. Currently,
it has zero brakes. A little know how and elbow grease will yield a
very usable Packard Executive and a good automotive investment.
