For Sale: 1969 Ford Fairlane in Yakima, Washington

Vehicle Description

Selling my 1969 Ford Fairlane Cobra R code. I acquired the car in 1997 and completely went through it.
The car was stripped to metal and all rust removed and replaced with new sheet metal. Absolutely no Bondo anywhere. All doors, trunk, hood, fenders line up perfect. The engine 428 CJ was completely rebuilt from Cope   Brothers Tacoma Wa. Bored 15 over it was the first rebuild and is date correct. The Top Loader transmission was completely gone through. The transmission doesn’t have a tag or date but is correct. The new clutch pressure plate and throwout bearing. The Detroit Locket Posi track rear end has been gone through  New wheel cylinders along with a rebuilt master cylinder. Has new drum brakes on the rear and new disk brakes on front with the drums turned. All new brake lines. The shocks have been replaced on front and back with air shocks added and yes staggered shocks. Has the Hurst shifter correct console and shift plate. The front buckets, headliner, carpet, door panels are all new. I have the original door panels but somebody put screws in them to hold in place! Not good! The car has working Ram Air, Power Steering, Power Brakes. Ceramic headers, a high compression starter. Am Fm radio. I spent 3 years on this car and don’t regret any of it. I have the original Holley carburetor for it but after rebuilding it leaked gas twice so put Elderbrock 850 on it. The car has racing mirrors on it. Just so people don’t give me shit when I was working on the body and paint the grill was originally blacked out but when I was cleaning for paint I liked it better not painted. The gas tank had a leak so I bought a new one but I stopped the leak and never put the new one in but goes with the car. I have 2 pallets of extra parts that could go by car depending on the price. The car has Magnum 500s on it. I also have a complete set of dog dishes and the center wheels with the trim. I had the plastic trim on the dash re-chromed. I have invested a lot of time and money on this on this and it was worth it. I give the bodywork on the car 100 percent the paint I give 90 percent. I have pictures and documentation on all I did from begging to end. This car looks great and doesn’t look 51 years old.
