For Sale: 1966 Ford Bronco in Pacific Palisades, California

Vehicle Description

If you want the absolute best Classic Ford Bronco money can buy, look no further. This 1966 Coyote Legend Bronco is currently being restored to the highest level. This Bronco is 100% rust free. The new steel Ford Bronco body was built using Licensed Ford parts. It has a recently installed black Polyuria interior sprayed-on bed liner and is fully under-coated with Polyuria (Linex) material. This 430 HP 5.0 liter Gen 2 Coyote Bronco has a 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission with a new Atlas 2 3.0 billet aluminum ratio two-speed shift-on-the-fly transfer case. It has a brand new Wilwood top-of-the-line four-wheel disc brake system, it has a new Wilwood master cylinder, plus a new Hydro Boost hydraulic brake system with all new stainless steel brake lines throughout. It also has a new electric emergency brake system. It has a new Currie Dana 44 front axle with new 4.11 gears, with a new Tru-Trac Posi unit up front along with a new Currie Ford 9 inch in back with a Tru-Trac Posi unit, both units have new axles, new bearings, new seals etc. This Coyote Legend Bronco is brand new throughout.

It has a new chrome front bumper with a chrome rear bumper. A JD spare tire carrier is being installed for the matching spare wheel/tire we will soon be installing. It has new Legend four-link coil-over suspension with King short-body shocks and Eibach dual rate front and rear coil springs. It has 12 inch front shocks and 10 inch rear shocks. Broncos like this take a long time to build. This one has new long travel trailing arms in back with extended linked radius arms in front. As of 4-24-22, it is getting new custom heavy duty front and rear anti-sway bars and new custom fabricated rear coil tower covers. We plan to keep the front and the rear fenders uncut (factory) to stay with the 17 x 7 inch  Wimbledon White powder-coated smoothie wheels with a 4 1/4 inch offset and 265/65R17 All Terrain tires, however if someone wants cut and flared front and rear fenders with different wheels and tires (your choice of course) we can still accommodate this request.

It has a brand new diamond-stitched ball glove Vintage Distressed leather interior with Legend (Pro Car Elite) high back front seats, the rear seat is a matching factory seat restored in the same matching leather. It has matching diamond stitched vintage distressed leather door, rear side and tailgate paneling. The doors have all new internals, including upper and lower door seals, new window felts and channels, new billet aluminum door cups and new black armrests. It is getting new black snap-in carpet mats with matching leather foot pads (that will soon be installed) to add an extra level of protection and convenience to the floors.

It has a new Alpine 174 BT head unit with a new Focal 5 channel 5.100 amplifier, Focal K2 Power front 6.5 inch component speakers mounted in custom leather wrapped enclosures. In back, a set of 6.5 inch Focal K2 Power coaxial speakers have been flush-mounted into the rear side panels. It has a hidden 10 inch Focal Flax-Evo series subwoofer that has been showcased in a leather wrapped subwoofer enclosure. This sound system sounds amazing even without a top. The Alpine head unit is mounted inside of the Tuffy Security Products black locking center console. The console's armrest is currently being wrapped in a matching vintage distressed leather. It has a new Tuffy locking glove box with a hand crafted vintage distressed leather liner. It has a new custom Rocky Roads wire harness that has been custom tailored to this Bronco. All wires have been "tucked" so they are for the most part invisible unless you look for them, yet the fuse panel is easy to get to. It has new Retro Power Windows which use billet window rollers to smoothly slide the windows up and down 9that look like manual Bronco window rollers). It has a hidden kill switch, plus new high quality LED head lamps, new tail lights and new billet bezel surrounds throughout..

It has a new RR Legend 6 point family powder-coated semi-gloss roll cage with new retractable front and rear seat belts, plus new matching Vintage Distressed leather roll cage padding and wrapping (so you don't hurt your head on the roll cage when entering or exiting the vehicle). It has a new Rocky Roads Legend dash with a new Billet headlight switch, a new Billet wiper switch, plus a new Rocky Roads Broncos white-face Classic Instruments modern yet old school looking speedometer. It has a new In-Dash Vintage Air Conditioning system with 4 new billet A/C vents flush mounted and properly spread out across the dash.

The King coil-over shocks and the Eibach springs we used on this build were selected to make for a perfect ride height. The wheels are 17 x 7 inch Smoothies powder coated Wimbledon White with new 265/70R17 All Terrain tires. It has a new VIN sticker inside of the drivers side door, a new VIN plate inside of the glove box (on the back side of the glove box door), and a recent Marti Report. A fresh vehicle appraisal will be done upon completion (to prove its value for insurance purposes). It has all new grade 8 and stainless steel hardware installed throughout the build. Every fastener, every AN fitting, plus every other piece of hardware on this amazing Bronco is brand new. It has all new fluids, it will be fully road tested and will have been through a 1-2 month "shakedown" period prior to delivery.

Rocky Roads, LLC has been building this Bronco over the last 2.5 to 3 years to showcase our work. This Bronco was not meant to be sold, it was built to be our show vehicle to represent the best of the best we can build. IF we do decide to sell it, it will be in the $285K to $295K price range upon completion. It takes us multiple years to build a Bronco to this level with current back orders that are currently king place within the Early Bronco industry. The King Coil Over shocks take a year to be made (if you order them right now). We have been on a waiting list since September for 3 Vintage Air for another Bronco we're building. In other words, we cannot possibly replace this Bronco in a reasonable amount of time even if we wanted to, so we're not in any. hurry to sell this fine example of what can be built from a 66-77 Bronco platform.

Estimated at $285K to $295K

Scheduled completion date: early July of 2022
