We're pleased to offer another beautiful, restored Camaro Z/28 for
consideration. This awesome, classic Camaro is a car that is hard
to divert your eyes from. Finished in an understated color
combination and boasting an aggressive stance, this car is
definitely worth a close look. First generation Z/28's all left
Chevy production plants with a number of things in common - good
looks, 302ci V8 under the hood, front power disc brakes, and a
4-speed M21 Transmission. The engine was no bigger than a 302 due
to SCCA competition regulations stating that the engine must not be
bigger than 305 cubic inches for the class that the Camaros
competed in. This Z/28 is a beautiful example of a restored first
generation Camaro. A look at the car as it currently sits shows the
care that was taken during the restoration process. This Z/28 left
the Norwood Ohio production plant finished in the color combination
that you still see today - Garnet Red (code 52), over Black
interior (code 712). The restoration was carefully completed in
2019. The exterior is tidy with trim, bumpers, and lights all left
the way they would've been when the car rolled off the production
line. The solid body is capped by chrome bumpers that are in great
condition and all body panels line up as they should. A rear
spoiler, black stripes, and reconditioned Rally wheels with beauty
rings finish off the exterior look of the car. This Chevy sits just
right and has an aggressive look - just as a Z/28 should. Like the
exterior, the inside of the car is finished in an original
specification, other than two period correct upgrades. An 8-track
player and a Hurst shifter. We know we would love to hear some
classic tunes pumping through the fancy, factory installed 8-track
player if we owned this car! Get that box of 8 tracks out of the
attic! This classic Camaro's interior also features bucket seats,
factory tach, wood veneer trimmed steering wheel, wood veneer trim,
and a center console mounted gauge package. Interior fit and finish
are great with panels fitting correctly, and upholstery showing no
wear. As there should be, a numbers matching, DZ coded 302ci V8 is
nestled under the hood of this '69 Z/28. Mated to a 4-speed manual
transmission, the power and sound of the 302 is sure to put a smile
on your face as you hit each gear. The transmission is a 4-speed,
but is not numbers matching. This beautiful, classic Z/28 is one to
take into consideration for your collection. Finished in an
understated color combination, and featuring a couple retro
touches, this car is a car that is tough to divert your gaze from.
