This 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Edition has been a
collector car from day one, and it has been kept that way, right
down to the awesome paperwork. It has less than 1,600 miles on such
a pristinely preserved example, and there's even Ron Fellow's
signature inside. So your biggest problem will be resisting having
some track day fun in this time capsule. After all, with the 505
horsepower V8, six-speed manual, and race-inspired components, it

Ron Fellows is a true North American racing champion, and he

And it's only fitting that Chevrolet used the ultra-hot Z06 for the
special edition. These really look like a race car with a wider
stance and plenty of functional scoops to cool the motor and
brakes. So when you combine speed with rarity (this is #107 of 399
ever made,) it's the kind of car you want to preserve. So if you
missed out on one of the few when they were new, this is truly the
next best thing. Some people commute longer in a day than this one
has averaged per year, and so this was a coupe that basically only
came out of the garage to be shown. That's why the Artic White
paint has the crisp look of a finely-pressed shirt. And not only
did these special edition cars share the same color, but they also
got terrific features, like the upgraded polished Z06 wheels and
exclusive the full-width rear spoiler. Those who know Corvette will
also love looking at the special GS-inspired fender stripes with
maple leaf embedded within the pattern as a subtle tribute to Ron's
Canadian heritage.
The Ron Fellows Edition also means and awesome red and black
interior with all the best features. It looks especially nice on
the supple leather sculpted sport seats. You know from the mileage
that there has almost no time to make any marks on the carpet, door
panels, or dash. In fact, most of pieces are still in their factory
protective plastics! So this is a premium driving machine that
feels factory-fresh on the inside. The driver gets full Z06 branded
instrumentation with backlit dials, a grippy leather-wrapped
steering wheel, and heads-up display. The Z06 already had plenty of
options, plus this one had a few extra to get a truly loaded coupe.

control, heated seats, power seats, power windows, power locks,
keyless entry & ignition, speed-sensitive power steering, and an
AM/FM/CD/XM Bose stereo with sat nav infotainment display and
Bluetooth. A modern classic also means modern safety features such

to make sure that you know this is truly an individual machine, Ron
Fellows signed the inner center console with the car's individual
number.
The core of the special Z06 package its original all-aluminum 427
cubic inch V8. The LS7 motor is a collectable all on its own,
because it returned Corvettes to the iconic displacement while
bringing it into the modern fuel-injected era. So it's especially
nice to have the numbers-matching motor in this special edition car
looking so factory fresh. With 505 horsepower on tap, it truly
lives up to the heritage put forward by this limited production
race car tribute. It fires up and idles like any good modern
machine should, but that special Z06 exhaust system really lets you
know this one want to play. It's mated to a six-speed gearbox that
gives you full control all the way to the 7000 RPM redline. The
body and chassis shaved precious pounds by substituting lighter
materials than the base Corvette, and components like the
transmission and differential have their own coolers for track use.
Massive brakes with bright red six-piston calipers up front and
four-piston units out back will put up with all the punishment you
can dish out. Plus, this is all part of a package with an adaptive
fully independent suspension topped off with Goodyear Eagle F1
performance tires. So yes, you'll probably be putting some extra
miles on this one even as a collectable.
