Big block power, four-on-the-floor, and plenty of dark intimidation
- that sounds great for any muscle car, but it's absolutely
irresistible on the iconic lines on a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS
tribute. And you're also going to want to dig a little deeper into
this coupe, because you'll find desirable pieces, including an A/C
interior, added power on the 454 V8, and a performance-built
suspension.
These Chevelle hardtops are a legend for terrific muscle car looks.
There's just something extra mean about the wide front end w/quad
headlights, swollen fenders, big dual exhaust tips, and a
fastback-style profile. It's hard for these not to be pure rolling
intimidation, especially finished in black. And the white racing
stripes make for the ideal contrast. Form-fitting chrome bumpers,
mag-style SS wheels, raised white letter tires, and the big power
bulge of the cowl induction hood are all part of this awesome look
that makes this one of the most sought-after classic coupes
around.
The black interior keeps the mean attitude going inside. The smooth
dash, good carpeting, and complete upholstery give it the proper
classic Chevelle look. But this one really gets it right with the
upgrades. There's are Vintage Air controls for the modern R134a air
conditioning. So feel free to roll down all the windows on this
hardtop classic even in the summertime. It lives up to the Super
Sport feel with the Chevy three-spoke sports steering wheel and
Hurst shifter. Plus, you not only have an auxiliary gauge trio, but
also there's a crisp and clean Dakota Digital Retrotech analog
gauge system glowing bright in the dash.
Under the hood is a true big block beast. It's a 454 cubic-inch
crate motor. This is built for power with aluminum heads, a GM
Performance aluminum intake, cast valve covers, and topped with an
Edelbrock Performer four-barrel carburetor. It's supported by the
right components, including billet pulleys, a Davis Unified
Ignition performance distributor, a newer master cylinder, a newer
alternator, and an aluminum radiator w/twin electric fans. This V8
fires up with a terrific big block rumble as headers add power and
presence to the dual exhaust. The four-speed manual transmission
put the full power package at your command. As you look underneath
the car, this not only has the cool/classic red look from the newer
pans, but also a full Hotchkis sports suspension with sway bars
(front & rear), lowering springs, shocks, and stronger rear arms.
Add in power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and the good
tread of the Firestone Firehawk tires, and this is a terrific
package to enjoy the streets.
This sinister Chevelle delivers a lot of power and icon for the
price. Don't miss out, call today!!!
