Vehicle Description
We love seeing cars from the 1930s get a new life as cool hot rods,
but most of the time they are a Ford or Chevy. That's what makes
this 1936 Plymouth Deluxe coupe so appealing. It fits in perfectly
with this crowd but still stays unique. Best of all, it remains
Mopar faithful right down to the fuel-injected Hemi V8 under the
hood.
That bold paint you can't take your eyes off of is Go Mango/Vitamin
C. Yes that's right... they borrowed one of Mopar's best High
Impact colors from the muscle car era and gives it a whole new life
here. After all, the deep gloss and modern clearcoat shine gives
the bold color a candy-coated finish. The all-steel body is in
fantastic condition, and it does a great job of blending vintage
and new. Up front you have the classic waterfall grille and sailing
ship hood ornament. These are joined by custom touches like the
Hemi badging and tasteful blue pinstripe designs. The pinstriping
continues to run down the profile to show off the classic curves.
There's also just the right amount of chrome where the classic
bumpers meet a polished set of American Racing Torq Thrust alloys
with an aggressive 17/20 inch front/rear stance.
The interior continues this car's feeling of a thoughtful custom.
The exterior orange returns on the door tops and dash, and now it's
joined by a tasteful tan. The seat has the look of a classic setup,
but now it's done in a nice leather. The door panels have also been
done to match with color and pleating. There are well-integrated
upgrades for comfort, like a custom satellite radio and provisions
for R134a air conditioning (likely just needs a recharge.) They
also made sure this was a driver's machine with a Lokar floor
shifter, a tilt steering column, and a leather-wrapped Lecarra
sports steering wheel.
The best upgrade of them all is absolutely under the hood. Hot rods
from all makes often utilize Chevy small-block power, but once
again, this stayed refreshingly Mopar. Under the hood is a
5.7-liter cubic-inch V8. In fact, this fuel-injected powerhouse is
closely related to what you can get in plenty of new Mopars today!
Not only does this look great with all the polished elements, but
also there has been an investment in overall quality. That's why
you'll spot features like an electric fuel pump and an aluminum
radiator. There are shorty headers feeding the dual exhaust, and so
this mighty Mopar loves to fire up with power and authority. They
paired this modern V8 up with Chrysler's five-speed automatic
transmission so that it had the right gearing for both performance
driving and overdrive comfort. This all-around great driving
attitude is furthered by the tubular control arm front end, power
brakes w/front discs, and rack & pinion power steering.
The sale comes complete with the right extras including a car cover
and extra paint. If you're a Mopar fan or just a fan of being a
little different, this awesome Plymouth is an unbeatable
combination that won't stay long in our showroom. Call today!!!
