Vehicle Description
A 370+ horsepower supercharged drop-top is the kind of car that
people don't forget. So if you're ready to be memorable, this
loaded and rare 2004 Ford Mustang Roush 380R Convertible is ready
for you.
This is the drop-top for those who like their Mustangs without a
retro appearance. The sharp creases of the "New Edge" styling gives
it a truly aggressive face. And Roush's full body kit amplifies
this with a ground-hugging appearance. This includes the front chin
splitter, rocker panels, and an aggressive rear spoiler. And the
Cobra-style air extractor hood really lets you know there's
something mean underneath. Redfire is a great factory color to
have, especially when the metallic element that pops in the light
for this sunshine-friendly convertible. The black racing stripes
and triple rocket stripe look great in black, especially because
they coordinate with the black folding roof. It's always good to
remember that Roush cars are quite rare, especially the 380R run
(this is #028 from 2004.) So this one looks quite good today and
ready to drive, and it's just a professional buff away from being a
deep red showstopper.
Inside, this modern custom classic gives you all the convenience of
a loaded Mustang, and there are also plenty of personal touches for
a speedy machine. The black leather bucket seats look fantastic,
and in the center, is a special cloth insert with Jack Roush's
signature. So you get sporty style and a handy feature for enjoying
a convertible when wearing shorts. There's a long list of features
like cruise control, power windows, power locks, power mirrors,
keyless entry/alarm, power steering, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD
stereo with Bluetooth. The snug fitting black top easily comes down
to reveal that bracing bar that adds strength and speedy style. You
can even show that off all through the summer season and stay as
cool as you look thanks to ice-cold air conditioning. But this is a
true driver's car at its heart. That's why you get a short-throw
shifter, billet pedals, grippy leather-wrapped wheel, and beyond
that are Roush Performance Series white-faced gauges.
The secret to this car's performance is taking Ford's robust and
hardy 4.6-liter and then upgrading it with a supercharger. Roush
lists this as a 379 horsepower machine. The 380R name comes from
rounding up a little, but that's ok, because this one also has a
cold air intake and a Diablo Tuner. So you likely now have to round
down to get 380hp! You're in full control thanks to the Tremec
five-speed manual transmission. And it's not just the motor that's
been beefed up. The full package comes with a Stage 3 suspension
that includes upgraded suspension arms, thicker sway bars, and
Alcon four-wheel disc brakes with drilled & slotted rotors up
front.
The sale comes complete with the Roush window sticker so you can
see what has gone into this supercharged drop-top professional
build. When you think about rarity, power, and the value price, you
