A car we did for a local owner, alas, his recent death now allows some lucky buyer the opportunity to purchase a spectacular MGB.
45,000 original miles, an excellent starting point which we than continued with a complete professional chrome bumper conversion, all new chrome, ALL new interior to a very high degree of quality, new wood steering wheel and matching wood dash (which took , modern stereo with Bluetooth, new tan top, lowered to pre 1975 ride height, rebuilt engine (didn't need it but the last owner still wanted it stripped, rebuilt, and reassembled) completely rebuilt suspension (all new and beautifully detailed), perfect battery box (a sensitive spot under MGBs, often rotten), wire wheels, new wiring harness (few items help guarantee reliability better than all new wiring), oil cooler, rebuilt SU carbs, all rebuilt brakes, new high output radiator, and as typical in newer MGBs...electronic ignition, power assist disc brakes, thermostatically controlled radiator fans, on and on.
Must be the most desirable color combination, BRG and tan, the tan top looks great, and the photos pretty much tell the story........a ready for show MGB, ready for daily use, long trips, or just the BEST way of practicing social distancing...the proverbial 'drive in the country.'
AND.......we offer such as options as a powerful auxiliary heater (allowing me to drive both of my own MGBs in temps down to 10 degrees, comfortably), a modern air conditioning system, chrome wire wheels, 5 speed or overdrive transmission, rear disc brakes, we can create an MGB that can duplicate the use of a contemporary sports car....and with no fear of frightful depreciation OR winding up in jail for reckless endangerment for hitting 150 mph. What is best about these cars is they offer fun driving at speeds far closer to legal limits.
