We hunt them and hunt them and hunt them. Not the average or the proletariat or the run of the mill- the special, unique, interesting examples we'd like to own personally. Where to start- let's look at the ORIGINAL window sticker we have- Gymkhana suspension, yep, power brakes, yep, L82 special 350 engine, yep, Turbo Hydramatic, yep, tilt and telescopic, yep, power steering, yep, heavy duty battery, dual horns, am-fm, yep. Did we mention that this car has travelled just 30,700 miles from new- YEP THAT'S CORRECT.

We sold this car to one of our best customers, Tom, about a year ago. He and his wife enjoyed it about 700 careful miles and put the beautiful side exhaust on that you see in the photos. Tom recently called us and told us they were buying a motor home and asked if we'd be interested in the vette. We jumped at the chance to have this great car back. Hard to find like this....

We have oil change records from its original selling dealer from 1984 to 2000 with the last record reflecting just 11240 miles. Also present is the new vehicle inspection, the original shipper, the original warranty book. We consider these docs to be bulletproof. Finished in its original color code 74L Dark Red Metallic this car has wonderful paint. Having been painted just once in its life when it did get paint it was done right and has held up magnificently. Its striking to see a Corvette painted to this quality. It is said that this Corvette is one of 25 Dark Red L82 Convertibles produced by Chevrolet in 1975. Wow.

For those of you wondering, it's not a recent paint, we have a 2009 Corvette America Catalogue and this car is on the cover in all its glory. Quality paint that has held up perfectly- no shrinkage or poor prep here. The minute we started to drive this car on its shakedown cruise we knew it was special. Runs strong like an L82 does, everything works as it should and this car goes down the road beautifully.
