Wow, this will brighten a gloomy day. The fit and finishes
throughout are high quality.
EXTERIOR: It is striking, that bright yellow glass finish paint,
lowered stance and big chrome wheels certainly will catch anyone's
attention. The body looks amazing- laser straight from every angle.
It did not notice any issues anywhere. The paint is like yellow
glass, it even feels slick. Every piece of chrome and trim on the
car is new. Up front the grill, bumpers, headlight bezels, rockets
on the hood were replaced. All of the stainless trim around the
windows and down the sides is polished like chrome. Antenna,
mirrors, door handles with the fingernail guards are new. In back
the bumper, emblems, bow tie tail light lenses, reverse lights were
replaced. All of the glass is new with a soft tint. Door jambs are
painted real slick. New weather strips, door latches and polished
sill plates. It rides on staggered size US Mag chrome wheels- 17s
in front, 18s back with performance tires.
INTERIOR: Wow, I thought I was sitting in a high end luxury car for
a minute. It is obviously professionally done with premium finishes
and workmanship. No overlooked details. The custom made center
console extends all the way to the back. No need to call "shotgun",
all four passengers get a sport bucket seat. The front seats are
both power. It has seat belts front and back. Custom moulded door
panels and headliner are very well done. Down on the floor is
premium grade carpet with bound edges and matching floor mats. In
front of me is a pristine dash. The yellow paint is polished as
glossy as the exterior. The trim sparkles. It has a good looking
set of custom gauges. The Vintage Air heat and air system uses the
original style controls that are now electric instead of cables. It
has a retro stereo system with aux plugs in the glove box. There
are round speakers moulded into the doors and 6x9s back and an amp
in the trunk. It has a digital clock. A polished tilt column
proudly display s a beautiful steering wheel, the grip matches the
upholstery. There are cup holders and 6 power window switches on
the console. Why 6? The vent windows are power too, the first 57
I've seen with them.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Put your sunglasses on. Under the hood is full
of polished parts. The 350 motor has a mild performance build. On
top is a polished Edelbrock intake with a big dual feed Holley carb
with electric choke and an HEI ignition system. It has a set of
coated headers too. All the hoses and lines are wrapped in braided
stainless steel. All the components on the front of the motor are
billet- March brackets and pulleys with serpentine belt, polished
one wire alternator, mini polished a/c compressor, billet timing
cover and modern power steering with remote March billet reservoir.
A big polished radiator with dual electric fans and a polished
overflow bottle keeps it cool. The condenser is polished aluminum
and matches the radiator. Chrome plated brake booster and polished
master, stainless lines. Upgraded CPP steering box. It has an
upgraded modern electric wiper system. It has chrome plated hinges
and latches, even the horns are chrome. Everything else is painted
gloss yellow. There are machine cut flamed panels on each side
too.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is boxed and upholstered just as classy as
the interior. The rear panel opens and that is where you will find
the battery. Bottom of the trunk lid is one smooth panel. The jamb
is painted slick, new weather strip. Premium grade carpet on the
floor.
UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the chassis for a thorough
restoration. The front end was completely rebuilt- lowering
spindles, springs, shocks, bushings, ball joints, tie rods etc. In
back it has new shocks and leaf springs with lowering blocks. The
frame was prepped and painted. The underbody was cleaned and
prepped, it's all smooth dry metal painted black. The Two were
reunited with new bushings. Looking up at the motor it's very
clean. It has a finned aluminum oil pan, chrome high torque starter
and a chrome flywheel cover. The turbo 400 automatic has a finned
aluminum oil pan that matches the motor. It's a great sounding
custom exhaust with stainless steel MagnaFlow mufflers. Rebuilt
brakes, there's disc brakes up front. New fuel system, the tank is
painted yellow. Every last but and bolt under this car looks
new.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
