1933 Ford Pickup
4-cylinder, manual, 6-volt electrical
Original and matching block, frame, and body.
The only "modern" piece is the electric fuel pump (the diaphragm pump was too unreliable)
Quick History
- 2008 — Received truck, was not running (dead starter, electrical, fuel)
- 2008-2013 — Truck running and driven, rebuilt and replaced the starter, fuel, and some electrical
- 2013 — Starter died again, damaged flywheel
- 2014 — Currently in storage near home, difficulty finding parts, tools, and time (moved four times)
Known Needs
- Replace flywheel (several teeth missing after bad jam with starter)
- Check starter motor and bendix for reliability
- TLC
Why Sell?
- I don't have the time or tools to give this pickup the love and care it deserves
- I am moving again
