The body on the car is in pristine condition and was extremely well
maintained. The paint is new in last 5 years and is finished in the
gorgeous Mercedes color of Astral Metallic and was just stripped
down and redone. The car is riding original Mercedes
15" Ronal wheels and has brand new goodyear tires! The wheels were
just beautifully restored. All chrome trim, glass, and rubber seals
are in great shape. The soft top is like new and in excellent
condition, and has almost never been up. The hard top has good
seals and the headliner is in awesome shape. This has the small
bumper conversion with Bosch Euro headlamps!
The interior is in great shape all around. The supple red seats are
all in very good condition and look very nice with no rips or ware
lines, which shows the quality of leather used in this car. The
dash, door panels, and console are all in very good shape. The
carpets are all very nice are not worn or damaged. All dials and
controls function as they should, power windows and antenna also
are fully functional. The sound system is also very nice with the
upgraded CD player. Music is crisp and clear and not overwhelming.
The sound system definitely adds to the driving experience of this
roadster. All lights, gauges switches, and accessories work as they
should.
Mechanically, this SL runs GREAT! The car starts right up and
shifts smooth as silk. The car has had thousand dollars spent on
service in recent maintenance. It's all ready to hit the road with
the top dropped!
