Vehicle Description
This 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible represents the best of what
you get when an upper-class convertible is treated with the respect
it deserves. In fact, its exceptional originality mixed with a true
V8 cruiser has assured that this drop-top classic is a true
award-winner.
The story we're told on this one is that it's a low ownership
classic where the ultra-low odometer is believed to reflect the
car's actual mileage. And when you see the excellent documentation,
including the original bill of sale and long maintenance log, you
really do see a definite commitment to long term care. So you know
this is a car that showcases Cadillac's excellence from its golden
era. And speaking of gold, the Amberlite Firemist is the original
factory application, and it has the high gloss of true distinction
(in fact, it's probably a good detailing away from wining this
convertible another award.) The body loves to showcase Cadillac's
expensive sheetmetal forms in a crisp and quality presentation. The
details are awesome with mirror-like bumpers, complete polyurethane
end caps, and crisp Cadillac logo details on the tall front marker
lights. And we especially how the pinstripe on the hood coordinates
with the wheel covers for a true understated touch of class.
The golden tan tones of the new roof go nicely with the exterior
paint, and you get a similar distinction from the Light Buckskin
leather interior. This has a well-preserved vintage luxury look
everywhere from the supple seats to the working courtesy lights.
You have all the best features, including power front seats, power
locks, cruise control, a tilt steering column, and provisions for
A/C climate control (will need servicing to continuously blow
cold.) While this has a fantastically original style presentation,
you'll also see there is an upgrade to an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB
input. It's a reminder that a car like this was made to be enjoyed,
and so you get to have the best in modern driving music. The power
windows and power convertible top mean you never have to leave the
driver's seat to go from enclosed comfort to a wind-in-your-hair
experience. But if you really want to look upper-class, take an
extra moment to put the color-matched hard boot cover in place (it
also makes this particularly nice for parades.)
Cadillac's big 500 cubic-inch V8 with a four-barrel carburetor on
top is a terrific reason all on its own to want this Eldorado. But
as you look thought the whole engine bay, you're going to see an
exceptional effort in preservation, right down to the radiator
clips. And so with this high level of conservation it's easy to
believe this it's the original motor. While it looks like this one
has averaged less than 850 miles annually, we know you won't be
able to resist adding to the odometer. The V8 fires up readily,
idles smoothly, and the three-speed automatic transmission shifts
crisply. So this classic just begs to be driven. A supple ride,
power steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes are all part of
this boulevard-ready package.
The sale comes complete with the original bill of sale, owner's
manual, maintenance log, and multiple awards this convertible has
already received. Here's a classic Cadillac that lives up to its
true premium image. Call today!!!
