350 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 • Automatic transmission, with Center Console • 10-bolt rear axle / Posi-traction differential • Upgraded Intake manifold and carb • Power steering • Power front disc and rear drum brakes • BF GoodRich Tires on 15" factory rally wheels • LeMans Blue paint • Power Convertible Top - with a brand new top and hydraulics • The beneficiary of a Body-up restoration BODYWORK/TRIM Completing an intricate transformation from solid Detroit steel to lean, mean Chevrolet dream machine, this stylish F1 displays bodywork that's nothing short of excellent! The car's ground-up restoration started with an original Camaro body that appears to have never seen major rust or significant damage. Once that shell was thoroughly prepped, each of its panels was carefully aligned to a uniform consistency. Starting its life in code 59 Frost green, it was transformed into Lemans Blue when it received its restoration. When that well-tailored profile was close to perfect, The Blue base was accented with black Super Sport stripes and sealed in mirror-like clear. And the result is one clean, head-turning cruiser that sports distinctly American livery! Zoom in on the details and this custom continues to impress. At the front of its body, a Satin Black grille hangs a familiar "SS" emblem above clean set of parking lamps, a small chin spoiler, and a clean chrome bumper. Behind that grille, a requisite Camaro header fronts an RS SS factory Hood, which flows to a tinted greenhouse that's dressed in polished mirrors, satin silver wipers, and straight stainless trim. At the sides of that glass, fresh wheel frames and new rocker spears trace optional door guards, optional quarter louvers, traditional door handles and ornate fender emblems. And at the back of the car, an "SS" branded valance hangs Rally Sports taillights between Rally Sport reverse lamps, a deck lid spoiler and a chrome guarded bumper. ENGINE Pop the hood and you'll find a reliable, 350 cubic inch Chevrolet small block that's been detailed, and fully sorted. Revs are created when a chrome air cleaner floats wind into an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, by way of a coated Edelbrock carburetor. At the perimeter of that intake, chrome valve covers hang chrome breathers over the Headman Competition headers. Behind those breathers, a reliable points distributor shoots spark through HI Accel Super Stock Spiral Core plug wires. At the front of those wires, traditional V-belts spin a rebuilt chrome alternator opposite a factory power steering pump. And at the front of those ancillaries, a beefy radiator plays well with an electric-thermo controlled cooling fan. Aesthetically, the Chevy Orange mill looks right at home in a clean engine bay that's been painted, insulated and fronted with a color-keyed core support cover. And details, like a power brake booster, factory fender bars, a chrome thermostat housing, chrome alternator bracket, and a chrome fuel filter, mix first-rate looks with first-rate functionality. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Take a gander under this slick F-Body and you'll find a detailed chassis that's been fully restored and thoughtfully upgraded. Solid floors wear a coat of traditional Satin Black paint, which, based on appearance, hasn't seen any inclement weather. At the center of those pans, a proven GM automatic trans twists torque to a tough 10-bolt axle that's finished with a posi-traction differential. Stopping is a cinch thanks to power front disc and rear drum brakes. Steering is greatly improved by factory power steering. Exhaust is handled by a series of coated pipes, which cage coated FLO-PRO mufflers. Torque melts the pavement thanks to BF GoodRich Radial Tires, which spin P235/60R15 in front and in the rear. INTERIOR Behind the car's solid-closing doors you'll find a Standard Camaro interior that wraps a simple, distraction-free driving experience in acres of classic flash. At the front of the cockpit, a factory dash hangs faux wood trim around factory telemetry, an extra low mounted Oil gauge so you can keep an eye on oil pressure when you're out cruisn' the streets. Below that dash, a wood-trimmed console frames a familiar horse-shoe shifter. Below that console, new carpet rides under color-keyed rubber floor mats. At the sides of that carpet, Standard door panels twist chrome handles in front of small armrests. In front of the driver, an "SS" branded steering wheel spins a half-wrapped rim around billet spokes. And behind the passengers, a fully restored trunk features correct trunk matt, full spare tire, and jack. INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION AND ACCESSORIES: * A vintage Owner's Repair Manual * An AM original radio * 1969 Chassis overhaul manual * 1969 Fisher Body Service manual * Camaro Restoration Handbook * 2 old factory Horns * Car cover * Parade boot * Fender cover
