The Chevrolet Corvette is the gold standard for the American sports
car. Throughout every iteration, the Corvette has been a dream car
seen on posters and in movies. Its sleek styling and powerful
engines have made countless other manufacturers envious of what
Chevrolet has produced for 67 years.
Your neighbors will be envious of you in this first generation (C1)
1961 Chevrolet Corvette. This convertible looks striking in red
with the contrasting white coves. This is the last year the
Corvette came in two-tone until 1978. It is also the first model
year for both the "ducktail" design in the rear-end and the
recognizable four round tail lights.
The car is powered by a 283 V-8 engine with 275 horsepower. This is
a great driving car and you will love cruising on any Sunday road
with the upgraded factory option 4-speed manual transmission.
Chevrolet produced less than 11,000 of these Corvettes and this one
at Black Horse Garage is a fantastic one to add to your collection.
