Vehicle Description
1969 Chevrolet C10 For Sale - Turbo Charged, Purpose Built
Pro-Touring Machine! LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1969
Chevrolet C10 Pro Touring Chevrolet trucks have been on the road
for more than a century, with the company producing its first
pickup way back in 1918. The Bowtie trucks have been good sellers
ever since. This C10 is a part of the C/K truck line that began
production in 1960 with a series of light-duty and heavy-duty
pickups. The C10 was a rear-wheel drive half-ton model with choices
of a 6.5-foot bed on a 115-inch wheelbase or an 8-foot bed on an
extended 127-inch wheelbase. The C10 featured an increased load
capacity for its front axle, as well as a larger cab and bigger
windshield, all of which contributed to overall better weight
distribution than prior models. This 1969 Chevrolet C10 short-bed
pickup offered here for sale is far from how it left the assembly
line when new having undergone a complete build with many
performance and cosmetic improvements. Painted in classic and
stunning Tuxedo Black with a custom Red interior, this truck is
menacing! The front grill has been changed with the more desirable
1968 design. It sports brand new front and rear chrome bumpers and
emblems. The stunning Red interior has been outfitted with a custom
seat, Billet Specialties steering wheel, Dakota digital gauges,
power windows and Vintage Air providing the driver and passenger
all the modern amenities of a newer vehicle. The most impressive
aspect of this Pro Touring C10 is how it performs. Starting with
the drivetrain is a turbocharged 5.3L LS engine with a billet
Turbonetics turbocharger, custom camshaft, air to air intercooler,
Edelbrock intake, upgraded valve springs, pushrods and much more.
This combination packs a heavy punch producing over 700hp! The
engine is backed up by a 4L80 4-speed automatic transmission with
an overdrive gear ratio for better highway cruising. Although this
powerplant makes plenty of grunt, it is still extremely compliant
and drivable under normal cruising conditions. Suspension is such
an important part of any Pro-Touring build. This truck has a full
Ridetech setup including tubular upper and lower A-arms, fully
adjustable coil overs, drop spindles, front sway bar, trailing arms
and Panhard bar. Braking duties are handled by massive Wilwood 13"
front rotors with 6-piston calipers and 12.88" in rear with
4-piston calipers. Completing the handling package are Forgeline
3-piece forged CFC3 wheels with sticky Michelin 335/30zr20 in the
rear and 275/35zr20 on the front. This purpose built C10 has the
performance to keep up with more modern vehicles and an aggressive
look sure to turn heads! Additional Details: 1969 CHEVROLET C10
