Vehicle Description
The T120C Competition Sports was manufactured in much smaller
quantities between 1963 - 65 only, with a total of just 185
machines being built over this 3-year period, making them one of
the rarest Bonneville variants made.
This 1965 Triumph T120C was given an accurate, stock condition
restoration by Randy Baxter of Baxter Cycles in Iowa, a well-known
Triumph restorer for over 40 years. The beautifully applied
Metallic Blue and Silver paint are highlighted with a narrow gold
pinstripe. With only 99 miles since restoration, this motorcycle is
in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition.
The 649cc Twin engine starts well with the with its twin Amal
Monobloc carburetors
tuned to provide a smooth idle. With the C design this bike yields
high-level exhaust, minimal road equipment, and 47hp, giving it the
highest power ratings in their class. The 4-speed transmission
shifts smoothly and delivers power to the 18" chrome spoked rear
wheel.
This rare, numbers matching, Triumph T120C Bonneville is a must
have for all Triumph collectors.
