Here we have a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air that is as nice as they get!
It's an original Bel Air that was bought out of Goldsboro NC and
kept in SC afterwards. The paint was redone in 1999 with all new
stainless trim installed and a new stainless grille. The original
bumpers were rechromed and still look like new today. The interior
got done at the same time, with all new upholstery, carpet, and
headliner. All of the lights inside and out work as intended as
well as the blinkers, wipers, and horn. 10 years later, it was time
for a drivetrain upgrade. The builder chose a strong set up with a
ZZ3 crate 350 rated at 345 HP and a B&M street/strip TH350
automatic transmission. Aluminum heads, longtube headers, and an
aluminum intake pair with the Edlebrock carb to produce a little
extra power. A 10 bolt rear end from a Camaro was redone with 3:08
gears and new brake hardware before being installed. You'll also
find power disc front brakes, a new power steering system, and a
new A/C system that have all been replaced in the last 12 months. A
new Stainless 3" dual exhaust system provides the perfect rumble
and looks great coming out under the rear bumper. Staggered 17 & 18
inch gunmetal 5 spoke wheels support 235 front and 255 rear tires
with a 45 profile to provide a smooth ride, large contact patch,
and traction upon launch. Drop spindles give this car the perfect
stance. This 55 recently received a few other upgrades including a
chrome tilt column, electronic gauge cluster, billet hood hinges,
LED tail lights, thermostatic electric fan, and electric wiper
motors. Nothing left to be desired here, as this classic car is
perfect! Financing is available and trades are welcome.
