Under the hood of this gorgeous 50's 'Vette is the potent 265C.I. V8. 1956 is the final year for the 265C.I., the first V8 ever to be offered in a Corvette, and only 3,467 were produced for the year. That powerplant is fed fuel and air through its correct Carter 4-bbl carburetor and is connected to a 3-speed manual transmission. What makes this '56 Corvette really rare though is the fact that it was originally optioned without a radio, making it 1 of a mere 750 like it! Who would want a radio anyways when you have the charming burble of a classic V8 Corvette as your background track? 1956 is also the first year of only two for this unique design with its protruding single headlamps, recessed taillights, and scoops on the top of the front fenders.
