Vehicle Description
A true collectable classic with all these upgrades should never be
this affordable. But this 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 has plenty of
terrific SS-style upgrades and the instant appeal of a low-mileage
classic... and it's all available right now for a terrific
price!
This is a low mileage machine averaging less than 1,550 miles
annually. This kind of added attention is expected on a 2002
Camaro. After all, it was not only the 35th anniversary of the
legendary Chevy name, but also it's the final year for the
fourth-generation cars. Monterey Maroon Metallic was a rare color
with traditionally less than 5% of total production receiving this
deep red-like hue. But it's hard to see why it could be so rare
since it does such a great job of coordinating with the black
fascia, side pillars, and roof. The reason why the paint looks so
good on this one is because the hood, fender, bumper, and roof were
all treated to a quality respray. And that's far from the only
investment you'll find that make this a standout coupe. The large
dual exhaust tips signal at some added performance, and the upgrade
to C6 Corvette polished alloys add to both this car's shine and the
stance.
The tan leather interior was great for offering comfort and
performance without compromising either. The supportive bucket
seats are both grippy in the corners and comfortable for all-day
drives. Plus, yours is power adjustable to find the ideal driving
position. Carpets, door panels, and the dash are immaculate. Even
the back seats appear to have never seen sat in. Because this is a
special Camaro, we're happy to see it's a loaded one, too. That
means power windows, power locks, keyless entry/alarm, dual
airbags, power steering, cruise control, power mirrors, tilt wheel,
power steering, and cold blowing air conditioning. Plus, just above
the factory AM/FM/CD stereo is a 35th anniversary commemorative
plaque to always remind you how distinct this Camaro is.
The engine bay really shows off this numbers matching motor with
the kind of fresh look that instantly reminds you ca the car's low
mileage. These later fourth-gen Z/28s were already a terrific
muscle machine because they shared the fuel-injected LS1 5.7-liter
V8 with their contemporary Corvette. And the power gets upped
further thanks to an investment in an SLP air induction system.
Plus, the Borla exhaust give this a much sweeter tune. The
four-speed automatic transmission is there for great all-around
driving with quick kick-downs into performance as well as easy
overdrive comfort. Four-wheel power disc brakes, anti-lock brakes,
and sticky Nitto Extreme Sport tires are all part of the package
that makes this modern classic a true performer.
Complete with owner's manual, this is an upgraded anniversary car
from the final year of its generation. They can't get much more
classic than this, and it will never be more affordable than now.
