Description:

This 1983 Volkswagen Vanagon is a Westfalia camper equipped with a pop-top and canvas tent as well as a sleeping loft, convertible bed, stove, refrigerator, sink, and utility hookups. Power comes from a water-cooled 1.9-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle, and the van has been refinished in beige over a brown cloth interior. Modifications include 17? wheels, a CD player, and a four-headlight grille. Clean and clear Title. We just drove it on a 2400 mile trek with no issues. Recently serviced in terms of filters, fluids, belts, brakes, additional tach, and dash lights, along with interior led light modifications.

Interior:

The Interior is in great shape, captains chairs make driving it very easy for long hauls. Overall a very sorted piece. Pop up top and awning work excellent. Please take a moment to view our test drive and walk around video from the trip to NC and back! Radio has been upgraded and additional speakers have been fitted. Fridge was recently pulled out and serviced by our techs and all functions work. Storage is perfect and clean, Fresh water tank is clean, and a new pump has been fitted. It does have the optional gowesty quick disconnects for water. The propane system works excellent and will keep the fridge at 40 degrees with proper preparations. Overall a very sorted ready to enjoy Westy.

Exterior:

The exterior is easily a 7.5-8-10 in regards to paint quality. It shows very well. Originally from California, my wife and I purchased to to make a memorable trip to the Pisgah Mountains! It was lovely. Wheels and tires only have 2400 miles on them and are date coded 2020. All glass and sliders are in great shape, as are all of the locks and shocks and struts for doors.

Drivetrain:

Recently overhauled this 1.9l water cooled motor ran perfect. ZERO leaks! Transmission shifted with ease and there are no pop outs in second or reverse. We were cruising at 68mph at 3700 rpms and would get close to 310 miles till empty. Fuel injection was upgraded to 4 dot injectors, it sports a new radiator, new coolant components, recent brakes, all bushings are in tight working order. This Westy fires up every time, and it is truly ready for the next trip.
