Vehicle Description
A fuel-injected drop-top 5.0 pony car always has appeal. But this
1990 Ford Mustang GT Convertible also gives you low-mileage, a ton
of features, and a great factory color combo. And it's all
available for quite an affordable price.
This is a factory black car, and so it's always going to have
appeal at its base. And the contrasting white roof is a touch of
class that gives an added charm to this GT. Of course, what we
really love about these are the speedy style. The full factory body
kit, wraparound red strip, big fog lights, rear luggage rack, dual
exhaust tips, and slotted-style rear lights are all part of this
drop-top's performance look it has had from day one. And the
15-spoke, 15-inch alloys are practically an icon all on their own.
There is room for improvement on this car, but the value price is
also part of this package. So you have a strong-running GT that you
can enjoy today, and there's room left in you budget to give it the
upgrades and personal touches you really want down the road.
For the same reason why we like the white top against the black
paint, we also love the full white interior. And you can show this
bright leather package off any time you want - it just powers down
with the touch of a button. The bucket seats in these Mustang GTs
are a big part of their driver-oriented appeal. They have terrific
bolstering to hug your body and the support is even power
adjustable. There are more great factory features, like power
windows, power locks, full gauges, and the factory AM/FM cassette
stereo. The air conditioning has even been converted over to R134a
(it will need serving to blow cold again.) You'll also see the
right fundamentals on this example with good carpeting, a clean
dash, and a tidy trunk. A later version of this generation Mustang
means you get the Fox body style, and also safety improvements,
like a driver's airbag and a third brake light on the rear.
The fuel-injected 5.0-liter is heart that made these Fox-body
Mustangs a true legend. These V8s are a favorite because they are a
well-done mix of hardy and powerful. So while this is believed to
be the original powerhouse, it also benefits from inhaling deeper
with a BBK cold air intake. There's also a newer aluminum radiator
to keep this strong-running V8 a cool customer. The four-speed
automatic transmission has overdrive for a great driver near or
far, and you even have cruise control, too. Add in power steering,
power brakes with front discs, and a rear sway bar, and it creates
a terrific all around drop-top machine.
This is the Five-Oh that's highly original and priced right. So it
makes for good deal on a distinctive drop-top classic. Call
