The car was extensively rebuilt in 1991 and was my daily driver for 15 years in the Chicago area. The interior is all in grey cloth. The front seat is actually out of a 1954 2 dr sedan. Those salty Chicago winters have taken a toll on the rockers and quarter panels. The floor is still solid though. Sitting under a carport with dirt floor took its toll on the engine compartment. It was nicely painted and chromed when I stopped driving her, but not so nice anymore. The car hadn't run in 12 years, some fresh gas and a few tries and she fired up nicely. I've driven it around my field, but i wouldn't venture far with the 15 year old tires. Mechanically, the car is fine though.
Engine/trans/rearend all rebuilt in 1990. Strong Chevy 350, very stout built TH350 trans shifts hard (by design), 73 Chevelle 3.23 posi rearend, Heidts Hot Rod Shop ifs with 9 inch Camaro disks up front, power steering, accurate speedo, about 60k miles on the modern build. I pulled a trailer with it for years so it has a custom made trailer hitch in place of the rear cross member.
She could use some tlc, no doubt about that. But, all in all, she's still a good car. See video of her driving here: https://youtu.be/9eUX9COBbjE
