Dad's house sold fast! Time to find the truck a new home! New Price!
1977 one-owner GMC Sierra Grande. 15,663 original miles - mostly driven on family summer vacations before 1985. Not driven for 25 years. Our Dad maintained the truck in a climate-controlled garage since 1977. It’s not original - but this is how it has looked our entire lives. It’s not perfect. It’s never been restored. It is an authentic survivor. Almost new. That might make it better than perfect. When will you get another chance like this?
We've got the original car shipper data from June 1977.
Both sets of keys still have the original dealer keyrings.
The original wiper beams are in the cab.
The truck was not driven from 1985 through 2010. Dad would back it out of the garage every month the weather was good, let it run, then pull it back in. Occasionally drive it around the block. Once a year he washed and waxed it.
After he was diagnosed with Parkinson's, he had the exhaust replaced and drove it less than 1,000 miles in the next 3 years. Prior to leaving the garage in September 2020, it had less than 50 miles since it's inspection in 2013.
Most of the family had only heard about this truck - that's how rarely it was out of the garage. Unfortunately, it must be sold to settle his final estate. It truly is a remarkable vehicle. And as a bonus, we're even throwing in the 1970s's orange rug that has been in the bed all these years!
Back in the days when it was not only socially acceptable, but it was actually FUN to put two kids in the bed of the ruck and take a family vacation, that was the sole purpose of this GMC's life.
Now it's your turn to steward this classic GMC through it's classic years. We have driven it about 14 miles from his home to ours, and given it a wash and wax as it was accustomed to every year.
It's ready for you to have it shipped to your home.
