This two-owner '81 Quattro was imported purchased new from
California Porsche Audi Inc, in San Francisco on 4.12.1982. It was
imported for the original owner who garaged it at his home in Sun
Valley, Idaho. The second owner purchased it locally and also has
kept it in the Sun Valley area. In 1997 the first owner took it to
Euro Car service and our current Porsche technician performed a
$4,632.87 service. According to the service record, the Turbo had
excessive end play. It was replaced along with the exhaust
manifolds. Mileage noted in '97 was 21,215. The second owner used
it lightly and had it stored. It came out of storage in Aug of
2020. $6,432.03 in "wake up" servicing was required. Work performed
includes, two axle shaft boots and outer CV boots, new shocks,
Valve cover gasket, Alternator drive belt, removal of fuel tank and
cleaning, new fuel pump and fuel filter, Timing belt, spark plugs,
Distributor cap, battery and battery cable ends, carbon removal
from the fuel system and exhaust system, new mufflers and cleaning
of the injectors. After that service, the original wheels have been
freshly restored and new tires have been mounted. Included in the
sale are the aftermarket BBS three-piece wheels and tires. This low
mileage ultra-rare early Quattro has an outrageous interior in
