classic and muscle car business. While most of my co-workers here
at Street Dreams are lifelong gearheads with a need for speed like
myself, most of us also own an older pickup truck. Besides being
far more affordable ($70K for a new truck?!), an older truck is
also easier to repair and it offers absolute freedom from parking
worries and lousy, distracted drivers. But as much as I enjoy my
old truck, this 1968 Dodge D100 has been costing me sleep lately.
This thing is cooler than the other side of the pillow! Lift the
hood and you'll find the legendary and bulletproof 225 slant 6
that's been fortified with a Clifford aluminum intake manifold and
valve cover, a Holley 4bbl (!) carburetor, and headers that feed a
true dual exhaust system. The exhaust note (please see video) from
this setup is awesome! Additional features include a 3-speed manual
transmission, a Kenwood stereo, two-tone paint, auxiliary
tachometer, new chrome rear bumper, good upholstery, good carpet,
good headliner, and American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels. This
truck is fun to drive, sounds absolutely amazing, and people just
go bonkers over the engine setup. If you're in the market for an
