Vehicle Description
1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. This is not only a Brougham
edition, but its also fuel-injected. This car is Claret Red with a
bright red leather interior that is flawless. Vehicle is owned by a
country music personality who shall remain nameless. Car is located
in TN and does not currently run. Her personal mechanic made a
diagnosis of the fuel injection unit needing attention, but moved
away before he could conclude the repairs. I suspect this is
nothing more than routine maintenance for this early fuel
injection----Repairs for which should be $1000.00+/- Vehicle is
beautiful in all respects. Owner says it's never been altered. He
*thinks* that at some point the left quarter was repaired/painted,
but they did a beautiful job and paint match etc. Bumper fillers
are not split/broken as most of them are. All glass is good. All
items works as they should mechanically. No unusual leaks, odors
etc. Dash not split. Steering wheel not cracked. EXTERIOR: Body is
straight, free of any damage, with good panel alignment. No signs
of any rust under vinyl top anywhere (beautiful!). All doors open
with ease and close solidly. All lamps work. Vinyl top is
excellent. The 'Fuel Injection' emblem on decklid fell off while
cleaning and senior owner tried to reapply with adhesive. Amateur
repair effort, but just needs some detailing to remove excess
adhesive. Bumpers are straight, bright, and undamaged. This has a
dealer-accessory continental kit on the back that has started to
rust on inside at bottom. These are available reasonably online or
can be seamlessly removed. Grille is a custom dealer-ordered
accessory. Paint has a very high gloss, is incredible and looks to
be a mile deep for original survivor quality. Undercarriage shows
typical surface rust scale. Looks as if it may have been rust
proofed? Unconfirmed. INTERIOR: Beautiful Bright Red. Dash is not
split. Everything works. Steering wheel not cracked. Headliner
perfect and intact. Odometer reflects 36,000 miles.
