Vehicle Description
This 1939 Chevrolet Sedan Streetrod is a full custom build where
they took extra time for all the things you like the most. That
means slick paint, a crate V8, upgraded suspension, and
custom/comfy A/C interior.
The Champagne Mist is the perfect kind of paint that looks
distinctive and amazing. Add in Sierra Gold and the two-tone color
combo does a great job highlighting the curvaceous steel body. You
can tell there was a large investment in having a professional hand
apply these colors because there's an even and show-quality glow
out in the sunlight. Yes, the body is OEM steel that has been
treated to a first-rate restoration, with a lot of extra care taken
in getting the gaps right. Plus, the chrome bumpers, art deco
grille, centerline rims, and stainless trim have a good shine. And
there are unique custom details everywhere you look, including the
driving lights integrated into the front grille, flush-mounted door
handles integrated into the door, and Chevy bow tires at the end of
the hand-painted pinstriping.
The interior is practical, comfortable, and unmistakably custom.
The exterior gold returns on the dash and door tops, and now it's
surrounded by a tasteful tan. It also all has the look and feel of
a quality build that was finished less than 13k miles ago. The
bucket seats are more modern than anything from the '40s, so they
are road trip ready. The rear seats are also exceptionally
comfortable and have the kind of legroom that makes this great for
bringing along family and friends. Plus, you have great features to
keep everyone happy, including an AM/FM/CD stereo w/aux input, cup
holders, and cold-blowing air conditioning. A tall armrest, tilt
steering column, and a full Dolphin gauge package (with large
speedo and tach) all make this a particularly nice driver's
environment.
The engine bay continues this build's thoughtful appearance. The
bright ribbed valve covers, matching air topper, polished
alternator, polished compressor, upgraded pulleys, smooth firewall
with matching brake booster, and much more are all part of an
overall look that invested in both quality and style. The 350 V8
crate motor means proper V8 power in a younger package. It also has
a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Weiand intake, HEI ignition, and
dual exhaust with Flowmasters are all part of added power and sound
you want in a custom like this. And this one is really ready to hit
the road. The undercarriage photos show an upgraded Mustang
II-style front end and a rear sway bar. There's also a three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up
front.
This build has already taken home some nice awards, and so it's
ready for a new round of accolades. You just need to be the first
