1965 Pontiac GTO-PHS Docs-Number Matching! This 1965 presents itself beautifully in its Fontaine Blue Poly (code D) and its great stance. It has a very nice clear coat finish on a clean rust free body. Bumpers have been re-chromed to show finish as well as all the other brightwork. All gaps and seams are nice. It rides on a set of Rally 1 wheels with a set of Redline tires. The black interior stands out against the light blue exterior. The door panels, arm rests, headliner, visors and carpet have all been replaced. It has a factory wood steering wheel. The dash has been restored with new knobs and trim, new lenses and wood finish. A/C vents have nice chrome finish, front deluxe seat belts, aftermarket AM/FM radio (that plays well) and Pontiac floor mats. The engine compartment is highly detailed with its number matching 389 cubic inch engine casting number 9778789. The wiring harness has been replaced along with all the brake lines, Harrison 4-core radiator and new rag joint. All A/C components are complete but not blowing cold, nice chrome correct air cleaner and correct chrome valve covers, power steering and power brakes. The trunk compartment is very nice with a spare steel wheel with Redline tire and jack assembly along with a trunk mat. It has a light coat of gray trunk splatter for a nice clean factory look, new weather stripping and the jacking instructions decal. The undercarriage is nicely detailed. The frame was powder coated as well as the upper and lower control arms. The floors have a nice coat of satin black paint with all clean metal. Looks like all the bushings have been replaced. All new fuel lines and brake lines, e-brake cables are complete and working. Dual exhaust runs all the way out the back with correct exhaust splitter tips. Gas tank has been replaced. Bottom of the motor is clean as well as the Muncie 4-speed. All front end components appear to have been replaced. This is a very nice 1965 Pontiac GTO! It really stands out from all the rest with its looks, sound and performance! Make it yours!! Asking $49,900
