Chevelle SS has custom touches. Let's start with the exterior. The
exterior is incredibly straight and solid with a high gloss
professional Bright Red paint job with Gold Metallic painted on
stripes. The stripes are buried under the clear coat for a
completely smooth finish. The bumpers, mirrors, door handles and
most of the trim have been painted the same bright red. "Heavy
Chevy" and "Chevelle" are airbrushed on the trunk lid in the same
Gold Metallic. The SS emblem and Chevelle emblem in the grill are
also gold. Pro-Star alloy racing wheels have red and gold SS center
caps and are wrapped in real raised red letter Cooper Radial GT
tires. The front and back glass has been installed in the modern
style to eliminate the stainless trim that usually surrounds them.
That gives this car a very custom sleek look! Inside it fairly
stock but it also has custom features like a chrome 3-spoke
steering wheel, hot rod flame floormats, a modern retro style
radio, Vintage Air A/C controls, and "Chevelle SS 454" lettering on
the center console. Under the hood is the heart of any muscle car,
and this one has a great big heart! A 454 CID V8 engine has been
built with an HEI distributor, Flowmaster exhaust, big tubular
headers, Holley 4-barrel carb, and a healthy cam. That power is
routed through a Turbo 400 transmission with finned pan and then
out back to a posi rear end with Spectre differential cover. The
trunk is clean and simple with black carpet and stores the included
car cover nicely. This Chevelle comes with a stock of receipts a
couple inches thick and some photos of the build. One receipt is
for every single piece of metal on the car to the tune of about
$4,400, just in body panels! This is a high end custom build with
