For Sale: 1936 Ford Phaeton in Mooresville, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

HIGHLIGHTS: Gorgeous color combination! This stunning restoration has just come out of a private collection, and is sure to be a show-stopper. With a Flathead V8 and a Columbia 2-speed rear end, this Phaeton is set up right! The Phaeton is one of Ford's most unique pre-war cars, and this is a prime example!

BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Phaeton is clean, straight, and solid-just the way you'd want it to be! With every curve and styling element just as crisp as they would've been from factory, this car will turn heads anywhere you go. The most unique body feature is the 4-door convertible aspect; hence the term Phaeton. What could be better than a convertible you can fit the whole family in!

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: When it was restored, this Phaeton was surely top-notch. The dark burgundy paint looks phenomenal, and really highlights the body styling of this car. The paint is still in excellent condition, with a deep gloss to it. Looking at the paint is like looking in a mirror! There are some very minor scratches here and there that come with using a vehicle, but this car has clearly been well-kept since it was restored.

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Much like the exterior of this car, the interior is in beautiful condition showing minimal signs of use. The dark brown vinyl seating is a lovely complement to the dark exterior color, and with the top down this car's true beauty really shows. Because of the dark paint color, it can be hard to see the simulated woodgrain on the dash, but that's part of the allure of this car. This interior is sure to take you back in time, even if it's to a time period in which you never existed.

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: If you aren't already excited about this car, now is the time to get excited! Under the hood is a good old Ford 221 Flathead V8. The perfect choice for powering a car like this, the Flathead sounds great through custom dual exhaust hooked up to period-correct Red's headers. Even more for you flathead purists, this car is equipped with the ultra-rare columbia 2-speed rear-end! This car runs great, sounds great, and is perfect for summer cruising with passengers!

WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: No matter what kind of cars you're into, you can't help but love the color and design on this Phaeton!

WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: Given the stellar condition of this car, it would be hard to nitpick beyond minor wear.

DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? This gorgeous Phaeton is ready to go!

WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Any pre-war Ford collector, or anyone looking for a unique family-friendly classic should be all over this!
