Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible mixes a custom look with
numbers-matching V8 power. It makes for a distinct car that's also
a true classic...and it's all offered for a great price.
The C2 Corvette was born from Chevrolet's Mako Shark concept. And
while the Sting Ray was an impressive production adaptation, this
example gets us closer to that dream car. The pointed shark-like
front end is a single piece for extra smoothness. The lower bumper
now houses the headlights in a custom setup that includes a cool
grille that announces this is a '67 - the C2's final year. Side
pipes and slotted mag wheels give this a bit more of street machine
attitude. But even with the upgrades, this will always keep that
great classic look we all love. Crisp bodywork, bright trim, the
two-piece rear chrome bumper, and deep red paint are all part of
this car's overall look of quality.
The sale comes with both a color-matched hardtop that will still
require finishing before use and provisions for a soft top, but
really, the reason why you want a convertible is to be open to the
world. So it's nice to have a black interior, especially because it
coordinates with the black on the exterior's stinger hood. We also
like this interior because it shows all the right signs of a solid
investment. The door panels, dash, and carpeting all feel like new.
The bucket seats were also redone more recently, and so it's easy
to get comfortable. The grippy wood-rimmed steering wheel, bright
shifter, and extra touches (including a vacuum gauge) make this a
quality classic.
Under the hood is Chevy's legendary 327 cubic-inch V8. This is the
numbers-matching motor, and on custom car like this, they took the
time to add a little extra flair. Bright block paint, clean rams
horn exhaust manifolds, a polished air grabber, and upgraded Pro
Stock ribbed valve covers make it attractive without being
overdone. Plus, you'll spot a newer distributor, plug wires, and
signs of a tune-up. That's what really keeps this a strong package.
The V8 inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales
with a terrific tune from the side pipes. You get to take full
control of the motor and its soundtrack with the Muncie M20
four-speed manual transmission. Plus, with the fully independent
suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and wide BF Goodrich T/As, you
know this is classic is capable of some sharp moves.
This is the terrific looking and powerful custom classic that goes
beyond your wildest dreams. So don't miss what's possibly a
once-in-a-lifetime chance. Call now!
