Vehicle Description
As one of the most unique-looking Fords out there, this 1960 Ford
F-100 is already an attention grabber. But then you add in the bold
paint, custom A/C interior, a powerful V8 under the hood, and an
upgraded prostreet suspension, and soon you realize that this is a
true total package performance pickup.
We love these third-generation F-series trucks. It creates a visual
bridge between the iconic freight train previous style and the
muscular blocky stance that came after it. And because this was
only available for a few years, we really don't get to see too
many. But more than just history and rarity, this one is desirable
for all of its custom touches. The gloss of the bold orange shows
off some of this truck's best lines, and the ultra-smooth
presentation announces it's a street machine. Deleted trim, shaved
door handles, and in integrated tailgate with frenched license
plate make this extra slick. Those polished Weld Racing wheels draw
added attention to the aggressive stance. And when you open the
flush-fitting tonneau, you can really see how they tubbed the bed
to fit the ultra-wide rear ones. It's a true performance setup, but
this also has terrific vintage details. The extra shine in the wide
grille and front bumper are great reminders of why we love classic
American vehicles. And this F-Series even has the desirable big
back window.
Pop the remote door openers, and you'll see the exterior orange
returns inside. It's now joined by a tasteful gray. And just like
the exterior, there was plenty invested to give you the best of
what's new. This includes power windows and cold-blowing air
conditioning. There are even provisions for an AM/FM/CD stereo with
USB to charge your phone. The Ford sports steering wheel is mounted
on a coordinating billet column. It gives you a clear view to the
upgraded AutoMeter gauge package. And there's no missing the large
Sport-Comp tach with shift light on top of the dash.
Within the smooth inner walls of the engine bay is some serious
small block power. This 350 cubic-inch is upgraded with a Holley
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and shorty headers
feeding the H-pipe dual exhaust. It's a strong-running package
that's supported by everything from an MSD ignition to a large
aluminum radiator with electric fans. This connects to a
three-speed automatic transmission that feeds stout Ford 9-inch
rear. As you look underneath the truck, you'll see an upgraded
independent front end, power front disc brakes, and a four-link
rear with stabilizer and adjustable coilovers. The fuel tank was
even moved over the rear to give added traction to this massive
Hoosier rear tires.
You're looking at a desirable Ford truck made even more distinct by
great investments in performance, style, and comfort. It makes for
an irresistible deal you need to get your hands on right now.
