Super rare 1957 Dodge Sierra D500 wagon, not a clone but a real D500, 325 Hemi wagon.
3 owner California car with an excellent body but somewhat pitted pot metal chrome. Very good interior. The first owner kept the Siera until he passed away and the estate sold the car to the second owner who disassembled it and had it repainted and the engine rebuilt but he never put it together again. The third owner who is a classic car mechanic put it together and he has put only a few hundred miles on the car since then. So out if the 61.000 original miles the original owner put all but a few hundred miles on the car.
The front license plate is the Ca black plate that the Dodge has had since 1963!
I had to pick Spectator Wagon by the way since this website does not offer just Sierra but please note, it is a 6 passenger Sierra wagon, not a 9 passenger Spectator.
The car was taken apart 10-11 years ago and painted in pieces, the original Hemi engine rebuilt but it was not until last year that it is was assembled again and made running and driving. The Dodge has never been rusted except for 3 very small repairs in the floor, original sheet metal everywhere, doors, fenders, tail gate, rocker panels, floor etc. The interior is 100% original since 1957.
The bumpers were rechromed and just installed on the car.
You could probably not find another 1957 Dodge D500 wagon to buy if you tried.
The car is at our restoration shop in Arizona and we sell worldwide since 1986!
