1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 - 290 Horsepower 351ci V8 - Automatic
Transmission - 85k Miles - 40 Years Owned Survivor Car - Original
Build Sheet (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle
on a website other than our main website, it's possible that only
some of our many photographs of this car are not presented due to
website limitations. To be sure you access all the photographs,
please go to our main website: Garage Kept Motors.) We're excited
to present this amazing, highly original Mach 1 for your
consideration. Our client purchased this Mustang in 1979 and has
kept the car in highly original condition. Being that it's in
highly original condition the paint is not perfect, the interior
shows a little wear on the seats, and there are a couple small
cobwebs on the underside of the car. But, it's not everyday that
you find a well preserved 1969 Mach 1 in such original condition,
which has just a tick over 85k original miles on the odometer. On
top of being highly original, the car also has the original
broadcast sheet. Still finished in the original paint color of
Wimbledon White (code M5) the car has all the correct trim, and all
chrome shows nicely. The paint itself shows age, which gives this
car character. There are spots that have been touched up, and some
knicks here and there, but there's no denying that it's the
original color. 51 years of enveloping the lines of this Mach 1 and
the age in the paint is honest - no respray or restoration here.
The body panels are believed to be all original - our client
believes he is the third owner of the car, and no body panels were
replaced while the car was in his care. Correct Red interior trim
looks great, and like the exterior does show some age but like the
exterior, the interior is highly original. The interior features
wood veneer, a wood rimmed three spoke steering wheel, Philco AM/FM
radio, T-Handle automatic transmission shifter, and dashboard
mounted analog clock. Under the hood is the original 351ci V8 mated
to the original 3 speed automatic transmission. This hunk of iron
is a 351 Windsor - with the telltale signs of 6 bolt valve covers,
and the radiator hose and thermostat being connected to the intake
manifold. Vehicle maintenance has been important to our client, and
we have a stack of maintenance receipts from years and years of
vehicle maintenance. This special car has surely been well
maintained over the years and is a pleasure to drive down the road.
One family owned for the past 41 years, a 351 Windsor under the
hood, original build sheet, and an awesome color combination make
this car one to consider for your collection. Not to mention it is
a first year Mach 1 which have gained more attention in the
collector market recently. Be sure to check out all the photos and
video on our main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested
or e-mail with any questions. Thank you for looking. VIN Decode: 9
