289 cu in V-8
4 Speed Manual Transmission
Front Disc Brakes Rear Drums
Duel Master Cylinder( New)
Pony Interior
A/C
New Lumar Air 80 Window Coating (sides and rear)
Much More

In 2010 the Mustang was treated to about $3800. in mechanical upgrades by the owner at that time. Oil pan, rear main seal, transmission seals and many more seals were replaced. Brakes were all completely gone over, wheel cylinders and shoes were replaced and much more. The radiator was replace, and also the lower control arms were replaced. This work was done when the car was at 47,556 miles on the odometer.

The next owner of the car did even more work to it. when the odometer was at 48,200 miles, the car was treated to a new GPM high volume water pump, new Dorman harmonic balancer, new points, plugs, distributor cap, coil, condenser, and plug wires. The carburetor was rebuilt, and the oil and filter were replaced.

Most recently, the current owner added new side mirrors, the new dual master cylinder, LED lights behind the dash, new front shocks, a new rear window regulator, and ceramic window tinting on side and rear windows. This is a tint that does not change the color very much, but blocks UV rays and heat.

The door tag shows that the car was an original 289 4 speed, and was sold at a Dallas, TX dealer.

The doors have no rust on the undersides.

The interior is excellent in this car.

The only flaw cosmetically is the dash where the radio was replaced. someone had cut the metal a bit to put in this aftermarket radio.

There are no signs of rust on this car. That includes inside of the trunk. There has been some body work to the rear quarters, but it was professionally done and from the outside there is literally no evidence of the replaced quarter panel sections.

You can see the quarter panels are perfect.

The engine compartment is well detailed. This car could go to a show right now and hold it's own against the competition.

The 289 runs great. This is just an overall very nice 66 Mustang. Drive it daily, or show it on weekends, it's ready for either.

There is no doubt the Mustang was restored at some point, but we don't know exactly when. You can see that the undercarriage is in very good condition. Portions of the floor pans were replaced at some point, but as in the quarter panel area, they were done very well.
