Second generation Ford F-100 pickups (’53-’56) are rare and the 1956 model is a one year only body style. That year Ford introduced the wrap around windshield with the small factory roof visor design that collectors crave. Our 1956 model still retains its original smooth-running factory “Power King” V-8 engine & automatic transmission. Mechanical upgrades were done for reliability and safety including power brakes & steering and a more road worthy rear end. This F-100 is turn-key and ready for the show with slick paint, a detailed engine compartment and undercarriage. Other exterior upgrades include a wood bed floor and 15-inch chrome wheels with white letter tires. The interior now includes a power seat, new carpet kit and working gauges. This piece of American history is for sale now in Georgia.
