1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Tribute. (Stock #195) INBOUND FROM
CALIFORNIA Original C code V8 car with a 289 cubic inch engine.
This Mustang is in good running/driving condition with lots of new
parts. BODY: Paint is single stage Pull Me Over Red with Wimbledon
White Lemans stripes. Many new exterior parts and add ons: New
front and rear chrome bumpers, new front grille kit with moldings
and trim, new front and rear chrome window moldings, new billet
Cobra gas cap, new Cobra exterior emblems. The wheels are custom
American Racing Torq Thrust Z wheels with Falken tires, exterior
lighting, turn signals and brake lights all function properly. ?
ENGINE: The engine is the stock 289 cubic inch V8 with no issues.
Engine starts right up and runs great. It has a brand new Autolite
style 2100 2 barrel aluminum carburetor. New starter, new
alternator, new water pump, new "289" air cleaner/valve cover dress
up kit, recently tuned up including plugs, wires, cap and rotor,
new battery, recent oil change and coolant flush. Exhaust is stock
manifolds running into 2 inch pipe with new Thrush Turbo mufflers
with GT with turn downs dumped at the rear axle. Car has a nice
smooth rumble. Transmission is the original C4 three speed
automatic. Shifts good thru all gears no issues. INTERIOR: The
interior has been redone with standard black seat upholstery, new
dash pad, new humphugger center console, new headliner, new kick
panels, new arm rests, new carpet, new rubber floor mats, new
heater core. All interior electrical accessories are in working
order: Heater, wipers, horn, dome light, gauges and dash
illumination. ?BRAKES/SUSPENSION: Brakes are manual drum front and
rear. Front and rear shoes have been replaced with new wheel
cylinders and front brake hoses. Car brakes and rides nicely.
Mustang has stock power steering works in good working order. Stock
suspension with coil springs in front and leaf springs out back.
Bushings and ball joints are in nice shape. Front and rear shocks
are in good shape. Car rides nicely. Trunk is clean no rust new
