Stunning 1980 Ferrari 512 BB: Iconic Carbureted 512 in Fully
Restored Condition This 1980 Ferrari 512 BB is a beautiful fully
restored example and an incredibly desirable carbureted model.
Combining powerful performance and exotic styling, the carbureted
512 Berlinetta Boxer was built in a modest quantity of 929 examples
from 1976 through 1981. This remarkable car, chassis 34351, is
offered out of 26 year storage. According to the accompanying
Marcel Massini History Report, this BB was originally finished in
Rosso Chiaro (Red) and upholstered with Nero (Black) leather, and
the car notably retains this original color scheme today. Specified
with instruments in kilometers, the 512 completed assembly in
November 1980, and after being sold new a month later to a European
enthusiast in Austria, the car was soon exported to the US. By
1993, the Ferrari had been acquired in a restored state by marque
collector Todd Morici of West Paterson, New Jersey. That year, Mr.
Morici advertised the 512 BB in Ferrari Market Letter as having 250
miles since a complete nut-and-bolt restoration by Classic Coach on
a 17,000-mile car. The motor had also been rebuilt. It has been
noted that the internal number stamping on the engine appears
incorrect. Furthermore, it does not have the original engine but
the exact same type was installed. The car runs and drives but will
need a service and tune up. Mechanical attention is required before
road use. Now showing just 288 miles since the restoration, the car
is cosmetically stunning inside and out with excellent paint and
super clean interior. Extremely collectible Carbureted 512 BB. Not
to be missed by any enthusiast of the marque. Stunning condition
