For Sale: 1964 Mercury Comet in Cadillac, Michigan

1964 Mercury Comet Cyclone with zero rust, all original sheet metal and decent driver quality paint. Originally a factory K code 289, 4sp. car, but now has a 1995 mustang fuel injected 302, 5sp trans and 8.8 rear end. The previous owner converted to a mustang II rack and pinion suspension and steering , eliminating the shock towers to add more room in the engine bay. Drives nice, but does need new control arm bushings. The car has the factory mercury underdash AC that needs a freon charge, but everything for it works. Has power steering and power disc brakes on the front and back with an aftermarket tilt steering column. The bottom of this car is in great shape and has subframe connectors welded in. I also have a factory gauge cluster and the original headliner panels and trim, otherwise the interior is in very nice condition. This car is a blast to drive and gets a ton of attention everytime you drive it. The 64 Cyclone is very rare and sought after amongst the Ford and Mercury crowd with less than 7500 built. I have a clear Texas title.
