VERY RARE 40TH Anniversary 2006 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H Hertz Rent-a-Racer. Number of only 500 numbered units produced. It was upgraded to 325 horsepower and given the full Shelby treatment at the Shelby factory. These cars were not distributed to Dealers and were only available exclusively through Hertz, I purchased this Mustang new from Hertz as a Hertz Executive and it never entered the Rental Fleet. It currently has only 4,000 actual miles. This Shelby is fitted with a unique hood with pins and a brushed aluminum grille with running horse emblem. A unique front fascia with integrated lower grille, as well as a set of body side scoops. The GT-H's are also equipped with 17 Inch aluminum wheels with Pirelli performance rubber. Ford Racing Performance Group's Power Pack (FR1) kick up the 4.6L V-8/Five-speed automatic transmission power train to 325 horsepower. This Ford Shelby GT-H also has the Ford Racing Handling Pack (FR3) including special-tuned dampers, lowering springs, sway bars and a strut tower brace. plus a 3.55:1 ratio rear axle assembly for extra off-the-line acceleration.
