First and foremost, the introduction to this description is paramount; this is the most immaculate and "like-new" Bentley Turbo RL you will find anywhere. So spectacular in its exemplary condition and presentation, you would be well and truly forgiven to think you are looking at a 1 or 2 year old example. She is stunning!! An incredibly fine example of a Turbo RL finished in delectable (and rare) British Racing Green with handsome rich tan Connolly hide interior with all matching Wilton wool carpets and as-new factory mouton overlays. This is a rare car in several ways. Firstly, it is an RL, the "L" standing for Long Wheel Base. Not many Bentley Turbo RLs were ordered. Secondly, when ordered by the customer (a seasoned Rolls-Royce and Bentley owner) he specifically requested Rolls-Royce specification seats as opposed to the standard Bentley seats which were sportier in appearance but rather uncomfortable for long drives. Mileage is an incredible 13,000! And, she is a 1-owner from new. This Turbo RL is factory original in every single way. Nothing has been changed and everything is original: 100% original paint 100% original leather 100% original wood. Looking at the photos, if you see a spot, a dot, a mark - it is simply a piece of dust, a reflection or an aberration in the photo. The car, especially the interior, is virtually blemish free; the leather is literally "as-new", as is the headliner, carpets and all finishes. The car was with us last year for a complete "service update". Anything needing doing was done. The only thing I would recommend to the car is fitting a correct set of Avon Turbosteel tyres as specified for all Turbo Rs. It does have a very new set of tyres fitted with no issues sporting plenty of tread, but for this car being everything that is close to perfect, it should have the correct tyres. We will happily discuss the supply and fitting of these at a fair price if you agree. With all services up to date, the car drives incredibly nice. The ride and power of these 3rd generation (50,000+ series) Turbo Rs is quite superior to the early examples which were not that spritely and had the odd rattle and thumps associated with different suspension set up. At almost 400BHP in a behemoth of a motorcar, she can really lift up her skirts and go. As once stated in Modern Car's review upon its release, nothing is more descriptive than the line; "such is the power of this 2.5 ton behemoth, when you power down streets in Sussex, she blows leaves off trees in Kent!" Nothing more can really be said about this example other than to reiterate, she is as "perfect" as you could possibly expect. Please take the time to look at all the pictures to best appreciate how fine this Turbo RL is. As a darling example, please do expect to pay a strong price.
